Hi, this is Madison from Finale Inventory and today I want to show off one of our most powerful features with our QuickBooks Online integration, and that is our ability to segment the data we send to QuickBooks by their source. And what I mean by the source is your, the source of your sales orders into Finale.

So I will just show you a quick example, A quick example in my account. So here is our sales order list screen. We can see that the source in Finale is where the order comes from in finale. So I have some options for my Shopify store. I have some custom options. So, so if you are connecting finale to your e-commerce channels, your source would most likely be, you know, Amazon, eBay, Walmart, the, the names of your, um, your store connections.

So we can look in our more filter section here and we can sort it by source. So, I have, um, online, you know, phone retailer manual orders. We have the ability to sync the data to QuickBooks based on the source of that sales order. So, for example, if you only wanted to sync your manual sales orders to QuickBooks from Finale, you would be able to do that.

So let’s jump to our application settings over here in our accounting tab and under this QuickBooks Online option here. And if we scroll down, we can see in the income and accounts receivable section, here is where we can. Define the filters for Finale. So down here is our sales source filter, and here we can specify that you know, we only wanna sync income, for example, for our manual orders.

And then, you know, perhaps a two x is syncing the income for your e-commerce orders. So we are able to segment the data, we sync to QuickBooks to give you more control of what you know, your, your inventory management system is pushing. And in turn, you know that typically makes things easier to reconcile and easier to manage.
